Brefly’s take / Interpretation

A thought to take with you.

Amleth's oath gives him a simple destination, but the people around his family make revenge less straightforward than the story he has carried since childhood. The film uses saga and ritual to ask whether fulfilling an inherited role can restore what violence took away.

Is it your kind of movie?

Choose it for a stark Viking revenge saga rooted in myth and ritual. It contains graphic violence and a bleak tone rather than light historical adventure.
