Brefly’s take / Interpretation

A thought to take with you.

The siblings' different accounts of their father reflect years of competition for his attention and recognition. Their reunion does not make those histories disappear; the film follows how adult children continue negotiating the roles assigned to them at home.

Is it your kind of movie?

Choose it for a dialogue-led family comedy-drama with an ensemble cast. Its dry humor and overlapping conversations suit viewers interested in complicated family dynamics.
